Membership Types
The Snyder Fire Department has two types of membership options:

On-Call Membership:

• Must reside within the fire district residency borders.
• Achieve attendance requirements.
• Attend annual required drills and work details.

Duty Shift Membership:

• Live within the 25-mile radius of the Snyder Fire Department (see listed zip codes in Duty Shift Program overview).
• Achieve attendance requirements by working a set number of hours as shifts at the fire station.
• There are no overnight-squad assignments.
• Attend annual required drills and work details.
